Bobby Mahnger

Bob Mahnger was born on October 15, 1959 in Vancouver. His family moved to Squamish in the early 1960’s, where he attended Squamish Elementary and in 1977 graduated from Howe Sound Secondary. After graduation, Bob worked at Weldwood Empire Logging for numerous years before pursuing a career with the District of Squamish.

Bob was an active member of the community he loved and an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed hockey, squash, mountain biking, running, stretching, and most of all, soccer.

Bob has proven to be a genuine soul who touched the lives of everyone he knew and met.

A loving father is now at rest,
For each of us he did his best.
His love was great, his heart was kind,
